Hoe Hee Welling ooit begon
Zijn ontwerperscarrière startte in 1996 in Brandbjerg aan de Art School in Denemarken. Hee Welling heeft ook gestudeerd aan The Danish Design School. In 2001 studeerde hij af en ging aan de slag als meubelontwerper. Direct nadat hij was afgestudeerd, besloot hij naar Vietnam te gaan om zijn werk voort te zetten. Toch heeft hij daar niet lang gezeten, want een jaar later kwam hij terug naar Europa om zijn carrière door te zetten in Scandinavië. Dit bracht hem tot zijn eigen studio in Kopenhagen die hij in 2003 opende. Hij werkt tot op de dag van vandaag in zijn studio samen met toonaangevende nationale en internationale fabrikanten. De waardering van zijn Scandinavische interieurdesign blijkt ook wel uit het feit dat zijn werk in verschillende beurzen en musea te bewonderen is.
